Easy Way to Clean Makeup Brushes

You don't have to be a beauty queen to use makeup or know a lot about makeup brushes to keep them sanitized. Whether you have 3 brushes or 50 brushes, you all have those top makeup brushes that must be used. It is important to know how to clean them so that they can last forever and so that the application of your makeup can look flawless. This does not require you to spend crazy amount of dollars but just a few minutes of your time. Below are the instructions of how I clean my brushes and literally!... the brushes that once had a white tip become white again.

1. Use a plastic small/medium size container

2. Fill the container half way with lukewarm water (it can be a little cool)

3. Add about 3 pumps of dish soap (Palmolive or Dawn)

4. About 2 tsp (don't go past 3) of coconut oil or jojoba oil

5. Mix all of the ingredients with a spoon

6. Dip a brush at a time and swirl it gently (the makeup will glide off fast!). You can also use the makeup textured rubber gloves used to remove the remaining makeup in the brushes.

7. Use a towel or paper towel to remove the excess water and let it dry overnight.

8. By the time the brushes are dry they will be cleaned and soft, making it easy to apply makeup.
