I'd like to take a moment and share an easy face mask recipe that has helped my sensitive skin. It's very soothing, moisturizing and helps bring balance to my skin. It only has 2 ingredients, but you can customize it for your skin by adding plain yogurt or lemon juice drops.
1 ripe banana (you'll use about 1/4)
1 spoonful of honey
Take a small chunk of ripe banana and add a dollop of honey. Blend everything together to form a paste. (Ripe bananas will mash easier). The amount you use will vary depending on the amount you want to create.
I like to wash my face first to clear it of any residue. After patting my skin dry I put the face mask with my fingers and leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. Then I wash it off with semi-warm water. After drying my skin I apply my moisturizer.
Extra mix gets stored in a small container in the fridge. That way I can use it through the week.
