Stay Connected

In the past several years we have seen how much technology has changed and how advanced it has become. It is no longer common to mail letters or to have to wait for several days and even weeks for a response! We are now capable of using Facetime to communicate and to see our loved ones, even if they are far away. Also, we are now able to use our cell phones to check emails, stay connected through social media, search in google, etc. The moment that we see that our cell phone needs to be charged, we usually find a power outlet to connect it and we do not wait lol.
As I do this myself, I am constantly reminded that God wants me to continue to stay connected to Him. If I maintain myself connected that means that my focus is ONLY on Him and I am less likely to let distractions get in the way. Just like I use my cell phone daily to connect myself with people, God wants you and I to build our relationship with Him daily. The more we do that, the more we will get to know Him and learn to hear his voice. We will make better choices and we will fulfill the purpose that He has for us.
I encourage you through out your day, whether you are getting ready for work or school that you talk to God. Let Him know what's on your mind, what you are going through, and that you need His help. God never fails and you can always call Him any time of the day.
