It's been said that life is full of surprises. Surprises are typically categorized as good news, but sometimes they can really change our lives causing us to stress or worry too much. A good surprise can be receiving an acceptance letter to the school of your dreams, a job promotion, passing an exam, or having a successful medical treatment. But how about when you get the surprise that you lost your job, a loved one passed away, or that you have a serious illness? The truth is that life happens and we are not always ready to handle the news.
Depending on how big the life circumstance is, it can cause high levels of stress and anxiety. It can even get to the point where we are no longer at peace and we may not realize it. We are not at peace if we are consistently thinking about the situation throughout the day, if we are talking about it all of the time, or if we are not sleeping through the night. 1 Peter 5:7 "Cast your anxiety on him because he cares for you." God cares about his children and he invites us to throw every worry that is running in your mind. It does not matter how big or small, God is capable of doing the impossible possible. Every time that we find ourselves worrying too much, we will realize that we have an area that we have not trusted God completely.
Trust God that he is able to restore a broken home, change a life, and provide material needs. He wants the best for us... the more we seek Him the more we will discover that he cares for us. His love cannot be compared because he is love.
